Indian Railway Recruitment Posts
The Indian Railways recruit all eligible Indian Citizens across IT, Technical, Non-Technical and Paramedic jobs. The job categories are divided into Group A, B, C and D. Group A and B are gazzetted and Group C and D are non-gazzeted. The groups are as explained below:
Group A: The recruitment for this group is carried out by a National Level Entrance Exam conducted by Union Public Services Commission (UPSC).
Group B: Recruitment for Group B is conducted by Railway Recruitment Board. Positions in this group include Senior Officers, Junior Engineers, Depot Material Superintendent, etc.
Group C & D: These employees are recruited through 21 Railways Recruitment Boards.
Recruitment for lower positions such as Goods Guard, Staff Nurse, Assistant Station Manager, etc. is done through Railways Recruitment Board Non -Technical Exams.

Selection procedure for RRB Recruitment 2017
For different positions, there are different exams. The exams normally include two written tests, interviews and other tests depending on the requirement of the vacancy such as aptitude, typing skill, etc. The vacancies, eligibility and exam details are released periodically on the official website of the Indian Railways www.indianrailways.gov.in.
